The laureates of the 5th International Jarek Śmietana Jazz Guitar Competition
The jury of the 5th International Jarek Śmietana Jazz Guitar Competition: Peter Bernstein, Thomas Conrad, Karol Ferfecki, Marek Napiórkowski, Romain Pilon, Witold Wnuk decided to award the following prizes:
i1st Prize – Ohad Niceberg (Israel) – 15.000 PLN
2nd Prize – Mateus Saldanha (Portugal) – 7.500 PLN
3rd Prize – Ben Turner (USA) – 5.000 PLN
Special prize from the Director of Summer Jazz Festival Krakow – Witold Wnuk – invitation to perform at the 29th Summer Jazz Festival Krakow in 2024 was awarded to Ohad Niceberg.
Anna and Alicja Smietana awarded their prize to Raphael Silverman (USA).
